MEET AMANDA
Leadership, Fiscal Expertise, and Zionsville Focused
Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Amanda Rubeck and I am a fortunate Hoosier that selected Zionsville as the place to live, raise my family, and serve. My favorite thing about Zionsville is the sense of community.
Over the course of my 20+ year career in the financial industry, I have had experience working with a vast array of teams and individuals. I currently oversee 22 branch locations in Central Indiana while working closely with other lines of business in areas such as municipalities.
I am deeply committed to the Zionsville community as I have the distinct pleasure of serving on the Zionsville Redevelopment Commission, Zionsville Community Development Corporation as treasurer, Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy Group, Town of Zionsville Finance Committee, and zWORKS board of directors. Other organizations that I am proud to serve in that cover Central Indiana are Junior Achievement, OneZone Chamber of Commerce, Noblesville Chamber, and Pass the Torch for Women.
The reason I chose to run for Zionsville Town Council is to help make Zionsville a place where people want to live, raise a family, and retire. We are at a pivotal time where we must reimagine workforce development because graduates aren’t looking for a company first, they are looking for a place to live and then looking for work. We must think of the future while preserving what is special about Zionsville. We need individuals who are engaged, committed, and have the expertise necessary to carry the community forward.
In attending every Town Council meeting either in-person or virtually for the past three years I do believe what I have to offer is a professional voice in the constant discourse. We must begin to act cohesively with a one-team mentality to put Zionsville at the heart of our decision-making. I have good working relationships with both the current town council, the current mayor, and Mayor-Elect John Stehr demonstrating my ability to work with people. Plus, I think we can all agree the council could use a little diversity.
When I am not in service to the community, working, or raising my family; you can catch me on a soccer field locally or across Central Indiana as both of my daughters play for Zionsville Youth Soccer Association and I love being their biggest cheerleader.
